Brendan Friedrich

Overview

I’m a college student in Leesburg, VA. And, I just so happen to be blind. (Don’t worry my lack of eyesight doesn’t affect my voice ;))

My voice-over talents have been featured on many local media outlets-including announcing starting line-ups at a Washington Capitals NHL and a Washington Spirit NWSL game. I’ve also provided various promos for Washington-DC ABC7 (WJLA), and I even guest co-hosted/announced on WJLA’s ‘'Good Morning Washington' telecast. Most recently, I was selected WTOP-FM's Junior Reporter contest winner.

I’m currently the public address announcer - "The Voice of the Pride” - for a Northern Virginia high school. I provide a strong voice and unique personality to home events, including football, basketball, baseball, soccer and lacrosse games.

Experience

My vocal resume is wide and varied. I have provided voice-over work for everything from an educational software company (whose application is used in schools across all 50 states) to local businesses in the Washington DC area. I also regularly lend my talents to my community, co-emceeing the Town of Middleburg’s Christmas Parade for three years, with annual attendance topping 20,000 spectators.

My talent has also been recognized by a number of local professional sports teams, including the Washington Capitals (NHL) and Washington Spirit (NWSL), when I was invited to introduced both teams during regular season games.

I also host multiple charitable events.

Personally, I perform in musical theatre productions and can adapt to any role/style. My roles have ranged from a headlining a nightclub cockroach to dog trainer to even an old-time radio host.
