I'm a very skilled whistler. I whistle a wide variety of different musical styles, including jazz, blues, classical, rock, and pop. Some say my whistling is like no whistling they've ever heard before. Whistling is an integral part of today's advertising landscape. It's used frequently in TV and radio advertising. Something about it touches a childlike part of people's hearts that says, "Forget about everything else for a moment and just have fun." When the audience feels good during your ad, the message is much more likely to stick in their minds later. (And we all know the power of a catchy jingle!) When done skillfully, the human whistle can convey a wide range of emotions and moods, from the bouncy, carefree & fun, to the serious & sorrowful, to the down & dirty blues. In the hands of... er, I mean, in the lips of the right technician, the unaided human whistle can be about as versatile as any wind instrument.
