Mauricio completed three seasons as a series regular on Showtimes Resurrection Blvd as Miguel Santiago. As well as one season on Telemundo / Sony Tri-Star series, Angeles as David Bose and a bilingual soap opera Hacienda Heights for Mega TV.

He often shares the stage with his twin brother Carlos Mendoza in The New Mambo Kings, a musical revue which he conceived and co-created with Carlos, he also serves as executive producer for Angel Flight Media and Imagen nominated web series Encounters.
Holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Musical Theatre from United States International University in San Diego. He also received his M.F.A. from the University of San Diego and the Old Globe actor professional training program.
