Voice talent, Rick Riley, recently shared an extraordinary story with me that was too good not to pass along.
Hear about how one gig can go a long way in today’s VOX Daily.

One Sweet Gig

Have you ever had that one gig that you can trace a lot of business back to? Rick Riley has been working with Elite Edge Productions and the Minnesota Vikings for the past two seasons as their commercial / promo, and now, documentary voice. Rick’s association with Elite Edge Productions has led him to some other incredible opportunities as well.
A couple weeks ago it was announced that Elite Edge had won an Emmy for “Midwest Best 2011 Commercial” with this spot for the Vikings and they also won an Emmy for “Midwest Best 2011 Commercial Campaign” for the Vikings Campaign which serves as the second spot in the series. You can listen to Rick’s work by playing the videos below.

Working With Elite Edge Productions

When speaking of Elite Edge Productions, Rick Riley shared, “Their creativity, filming, copy writing, editing is always first rate, and this year we’ve expanded with 22 scheduled weekly half hour documentaries entitled, ‘Vikings: Beyond the Gridiron.’ We’ve done nine and the ratings and comments so far look like we’re in it for the long haul.”
How did this relationship start? Rick’s association with Elite Edge began with an audition through Voices.com.
