Have you heard of the couple who made a movie trailer to announce their wedding date?
With over 1 million views on YouTube and a number of features on morning shows, everyone from The Huffington Post to NBC Los Angeles is talking about it… even Voices.com as it would have it!
Jeff Wong and Erin Martin hired one of Voices.com’s talent to narrate their now famous “Save-the-date” movie trailer style wedding video.

Movie Trailer Voice Talent Scores at Voices.com

Earlier this evening, I received an email from one of our members sharing an interesting story about a specific voice over job they booked via Voices.com that went absolutely viral!
Larry Wayne writes, “Jeff (Wong) found me on movietrailervoicetalent.com last August. It’s one of the sites I’m listed on as a Platinum member. It was great fun doing the trailer and has actually been responsible for me getting similar jobs… like a guy in Australia who arranged with a movie theatre to play a special trailer he made (voiced by me) to run on the night he and his girlfriend went to the movies. At the end of the trailer – he was in front of the screen asking her to marry him!”

Wow, what a story! Congratulations are in order for Jeff and Erin and a high five to Larry Wayne for his wonderful work, creatively sending the couple on their way toward wedded bliss.

What Do You Think?

Isn’t this amazing, hilarious and innovative! I’ve never seen anything like it but now that there is a precedent, who knows what kind of work is out there for voice over talent in movie / wedding trailers!
If you have any comments for Larry Wayne or about the video in general, you’re welcome to join the conversation by leaving a comment below.
