Michael Turnbull wins it all at The Great Voice Company

I recently touched base with this years winner of the Great Voice Company’s Voiceover Actor of the Year, Michael Turnbull.
I’ve known Michael now for a couple of years, even though he resides in Juno Beach and we’re (Voices.com) up here in London, Canada. The beauty of the Internet 🙂
Michael discovered his vocal talents after an early retirement at the age of 52 and was eager to start working for himself, embarking on a new career in voice-overs.
He has been studying the art of voice acting since 2003, and commenced his vocal education at The Great Voice Company with Susan Berkley.
The Great Voice Company, located in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, is a voiceover academy founded by Susan Berkley in 1987. Susan’s institute focuses on helping public speakers improve their vocal presentations and also trains voice actors.
As a part of Michael’s prize, he received a monetary award, some gift certificates to audio stores to purchase equipment and five training sessions.
An article was written about Michael by a community newspaper based out of Fort Pierce, Florida called Hometown News following his award. If you have a couple of minutes, I invite you to read the feature article.
