You have a project that needs voice over. Now what?

Posting your job on Voices.com, is a great place to start – giving you access to hundreds of thousands of professional voice actors and offering you fast, easy and professional service.

Even better?

When you post your job on Voices.com, you’re in the driver’s seat. For each job you post, you have the option to select what service level you’d like to receive, Professional Service or Self Service.

Comparing Self Service and Professional Service Options

Depending on the job at hand, you may prefer one option over the other. However, no matter which you select, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll always have access to responsive and professional customer service.

Here is a comparison of what each service level offers and how they differ:

Self Service Professional Service
Custom auditions from your script
Broadcast-quality finished audio files
Payment by credit card or PayPal
Payment by invoice or wire transfer, PO requirements or payment term requirements
Legal documents required for signing (for example, NDAs, contracts, etc.)
Dedicated account manager
Audition shortlisting
Translation needs
Assistance with rare or uncommon languages

What to Consider When Choosing a Service Level

No one knows the nuances of your project better than you, so when you’re deciding which option to select, consider the characteristics of your job.

For instance, you may wish to ask yourself:

  • Is your project complex and hard to navigate – or is it simple and straightforward?
  • Would you like an account manager to help you sort through the responses (demos) that come in – or would you rather hear each one on your own?
  • Will you require translation – or do you already have a final script in the language it will be recorded in?
  • Do you require an actor (or several actors) who can fluently speak a niche or obscure language – or are you looking for a more popular/common language?
  • Do you have PO requirements, do you need to pay through invoice or wire transfer – or are your payment terms simple?

The service level you select depends entirely on your personal preference and your level of comfort with managing all aspects of your job.

What if I Need Something Different for My Next Job?

Each job is unique.

What you select for one job may be different from the next.

At Voices.com, we recognize and appreciate the fluid nature of your work, which is why you have both self serve and pro serve options available to you for each job you post with us.

I’ve Selected a Service Level – Now What?

Self Service

If you choose self service, the job form will unroll and you’ll fill in all the details about your job including the characteristics of the voice actor you’re looking for, a sample of your script and whatever you would like a talent to know about auditioning for this job. This is the information talent will use when recording and submitting your audition.

Professional Service

If you select the professional service, a short form will unroll.

You may fill in some or none of the fields offered.

Shortly after you click “Submit Job,” an account manager will reach out to you and complete the posting on your behalf.

A Positive Experience – No Matter Which Route You Choose

As a valued client of Voices.com, our staff is committed to ensuring that your experience locating the perfect voice for you and your clients is a positive one.

That means that you will always have access to the fast and easy service that you have come to expect, no matter which service level you choose.
