If you’ve gone that far, you might also be wondering what the talent thought of working with their client… and you can view that information if the voice talent took the time to rate and review in return!
Discover how to give clients feedback ratings and reviews at Voices.com and also learn just how important it is that you reciprocate.

How Am I Doing?

Most voice over professionals want (if not need!) to receive feedback on the work that they have done.
Usually it’s because you want to know that the work was well received, made the client happy and gain material for a ready-made testimonial.
While clients may not be as forward with asking for feedback, know that it is welcomed and helps to give other people information about how your experience was working with them!

Receiving Feedback

When you are awarded a project and payment is released for work you completed at Voices.com, your clients can give you a feedback rating and also write a brief review that details their professional experience working with you.

Reciprocating

Once a client has given a rating and review, voice talent are notified and invited to give their clients a feedback rating and review to come full circle.
Although there are many talent who reciprocate and give their clients feedback ratings and commentary, I’ve come across a number of one-sided reviews where clients who have taken the time to share their experiences did not have the favour returned by the voice over professionals who so desperately (in some cases) seek out affirmation of their work and recognition of a job well done.

Perspective

Responding to leave a feedback rating and review for your clients only takes a minute and it’s truly the least you can do to help them build their brand reputation here at Voices.com.
Some people who use the site rely upon feedback ratings and reviews to help them gauge opportunities and establish trust.

How To Leave Feedback

Feedback of this nature can only be left or received once payment for the voice over has been released.
To leave feedback for someone you’ve worked with via the SurePay Escrow service at Voices.com, please complete the following steps:
1. Login to your Voices.com account
2. From the left side menu under Profile click on Feedback
3. You will be presented with a screen that shows you ALL feedback – feedback to be left and feedback left for you.
4. Any green Leave Feedback buttons present mean you still need to leave Feedback for that person. Click and leave a Star Rating and text comment and submit.
If you are unsure of whether or not you have any outstanding feedback to give clients you’ve worked with, be sure to follow the instructions above and find out. If there are opportunities to leave a rating and review, go for it!

    I absolutely agree…feedback is super important for both parties. Thanks for your great TIMING on this issue, because I was just about to email you!
    I’d like to comment on the process–from a client’s point of view-of leaving feedback, and some issues I have had recently.
    Last week, I had a client who had a difficult time maneuvering around the website. It was her first time at voices.com, and was really struggling to complete the process. In turn, she only left
    “3 star” feedback–not because of ‘talent’ (as she stated in the feedback), but because of the ‘system’ she was having problems with. She later went on to tell me she was PERFECTLY satisfied with MY work, and apologized…and that she would go back and change her rating to 5 stars(if that was possible).
    I also noticed that when leaving feedback, it’s hard to tell exactly HOW MANY stars are available. Is 4 Stars the highest? or is it 5 Stars? Perhaps Voices.com can LIST all the ‘star’ choices, and have people ‘check-off’ which one they’d like? Just a suggestion…

    Joe, that’s quite the achievement! Congratulations on your experiences with clients at Voices.com.
    J.C., to answer your question, the ratings are out of five stars. Perhaps there is a visual display issue in some browsers where only four appear?
    If a client or a talent wants help to correct a rating or review, they should contact support@voices.com and request assistance. We can resolve the problem easily and help 🙂
    I’ll ask our team to look into this and see if there is anything we can do to ensure that the number of stars showing up in all browsers is uniform. If you could please let me know which browser your client was using and its version, that would be helpful!
