NAB Show
Did you go to NAB this year?

Key Takeaway: The Importance of a Consistent User Experience

People need to have the same level of interaction across multiple platforms. If someone has a poor experience using even just one of their devices, you may lose them entirely across other devices.
Within the last year, Voices.com embarked on an epic journey of creating a consistent user experience across all platforms by implementing what is known as Responsive Web Design. If the above statement is true, you need to be meeting people where they are with the same amazing content, regardless of what platform they are accessing your materials on.
Research suggests that people move between devices throughout the day. You’ve got to be present and consistent!

When you think about it, all of this makes a lot of sense. In order to get to the final stage of enjoying a product or service, it must first meet the most basic need; functionality. Take a look at the following list and consider how your offerings come across.

Consumer Hierarchy of Needs

  1. Functional
  2. Reliable
  3. Usable
  4. Pleasurable
  5. Meaningful

Some Friendly Exhibitors

While touring NAB, we were able to connect friends, both old and new, including Sennheiser USA, WhisperRoom, Vocalbooth and ipDTL among others.
Though not physically at the event, Joan Baker didn’t miss a beat representing Neumann!

Tea For Two (Or More)

If you wanted a spot of tea, Kevin Leach from ipDTL based in the UK was there with his green teapot full of orange pekoe goodness.

Industry Celebrities

Where else would you find promo voice Joe Cipriano, ipDTL’s Kevin Leach and KLAS-TV news anchor Dave Courvoisier all in one place? At NAB, of course!

NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame Inductee Steve Harvey

NAB is one giant party. There’s even a ceremony for inducting industry greats into NAB’s Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Have You Been to NAB?
