Voices.com VoicerankNoticed a drop in your Voicerank overnight?
If you did, there are reasons for that…
which I’ll address right now!
Find out more information here.

As you may know, we’re making some changes to the Feedback system at Voices.com.
In the past, we allowed anonymous website visitors to leave feedback ratings for voice talents at Voices.com. We’ve since limited the ability to leave feedback to registered users leaving feedback for each other. This means talents and registered clients of Voices.com.
In order for the updated feedback system to remain trustworthy, we will be removing all anonymous feedback ratings from the system.
Makes sense, doesn’t it?
As a result, your star ratings, VoiceRank, and position on the Top 100 will likely change for a period of time.
Bear in mind that the Top Rated list is made up of more than just the star ratings. Other aspects that contribute include Profile Completeness among other things.
There is no need for concern as this is a change for the better and will provide greater transparency for the community of members.
We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks,
Stephanie and Laurynda

  1. 1. So we can be rated then by anyone registered in the system–not just those for whom we audition or work?
    2. How far back does our ratings history go? I joined up a couple of years ago and have experienced a tremendous amount of growth since then. (I’d shudder to think my rating was still based on some of my auditions way back then.)

  2. Hi Ed,
Thank you for your comment and questions.
We are still working through this area and are aware that ratings and feedback generated by clients who work with you is of greater value than other people who have accounts who simply rate you without due cause.
The anonymous ratings have all been removed to improve the system and SurePay will help set the bar for the industry with accountable ratings based upon transactions procured from jobs you have been hired to complete at Voices.com.
Some good news – if you had feedback ratings that were unjust, you can remove those if they were given outside of a transaction.
All feedback ratings and comments left in the new system based upon a transaction, however, will be left to keep everyone accountable. This will also give a true indication of the relationship and satisfaction levels enjoyed by the voice talent and client regarding a specific opportunity.
Thanks Ed, always a pleasure to hear from you 🙂
    Stephanie
