The company that created the online marketplace for voice-over work, Voices.com, is exhibiting at the 40th annual SIGGRAPH conference and exhibition as part of the Ontario delegation.

Started in 2004, Voices.com is a London, Ontario, based comapny that currently employs over 20 full-time staff members and hosts over 75,000 registered members at its site. The company connects video game, cartoon, interactive media, and many other producers with professional voice talent. Voices.com owners, David and Stephanie Ciccarelli, will be joining the greater conversation in the area of content creation at SIGGRAPH 2013.

“Voice over plays a critical role in telling the story of virtually every animation production on the market,” explains David Ciccarelli. “We’re here to collaborate with others to better understand how they search for, audition and hire voice talent and introduce Voices.com as the best way to do so.”

The Ciccarelli’s will also be attending the international SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival. For 14 years, the festival has been a qualifying event for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Best Animated Short Film award.

SIGGRAPH 2013 began on July 22nd and runs to July 25th. Follow the Voices.com duo on Twitter at @davidciccarelli and @stephciccarelli for updates and reflections on SIGGRAPH 2013.
