Job #316733
I would definitely not work for Big Top again. After we finished this project, Joseph Mullins asked to book me to do a second, rush commercial for a sporting goods store that he said needed to get done the next day. I made time in my schedule and he sent over a private audition link rather than a booking--which I accepted since I've done this for other clients here on Voices before figuring I upload the audition, they accept it and turn it into a working job. So, I send Joseph a couple versions of the commercial and then never hear a word back from him, even after several attempts to communicate that day and several days later. I can still see by the audition page that I'm the only one who auditioned. I can understand if maybe what I cut wasn't exactly right for the job, or the job blew up, but at the very least I think Joseph should have replied back to me to let me know instead of blowing me off and leaving me hanging. For all I know, he used my recording for the commercial without paying for it. In our limited conversations on the previous project, he seemed like a nice guy, but this is not the way to treat voice talent, especially when you ask them to do a rush job for you. Can you trust Joseph Mullins at his word? I don't know, but this experience working with Big Top leaves me disappointed and wondering.
