About Us
Around 2.4 million new cancer cases are diagnosed every year in the European Union. There are currently almost 21 million cancer patients in Europe, and cancer is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the world.
Founded in December 2012, based in Belgium, and affiliated to BIO.be (a subsidiary of IPG, the Institute of Pathology and Genetics), OncoDNA is a leader in the area of molecular analysis for personalized cancer therapies. Its mission is to use personalized medicine to fight the disease. As well as helping oncologists from around the world to better choose and monitor patients’ treatment, the OncoDNA team has developed two computer platforms: one to connect oncologists and patients from across the world, so that they can share experiences, and the other to process data from patients throughout the world.
