About Us

This is a two-man documentary project that began three+ years ago to tell in words and on film the little-known story of one man's vision and hard work that have positively affected tens of thousands of people around the world and left an indelible legacy on the communities of Burrillville, Rhode Island and Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The writer and producer is Kenneth Proudfoot, a writer, author [The Life & Business Philosophy of Austin T. Levy: Visionary Entrepreneur (March 2015)], and filmmaker ["Allie's Donuts: The Documentary" (Jan 2016)]. The Director of Photography is multi-Emmy Award winner, Jim Karpeichik, President of Ocean State Video. This project was funded by family and friends and financially supported by the June Rockwell Levy Foundation. Filming was completed last year and final editing is underway this summer. The documentary will have its Rhode Island premiere in Harrisville on October 1, 2016 in the 350-seat theater that was built and donated (1933) by June Rockwell & Austin T. Levy.
