Job Description for the Sales Trainer
The role of Sales Trainer is a new one at Voices.com. As Sales Trainer, you will create a high-value program that educates, equips and empowers our sales team to meet and exceed expectations. Your regular coaching sessions will help motivate, build momentum and inspire the sales team resulting in more revenue and an unparalleled experience for prospects and customers alike. What you do will be key to sales leadership. We know that you’ll use your superior teaching skills to deliver programs and 1:1 coaching that improve sales competence, sales confidence, and executive level selling. This position requires you to be results oriented and passionate about helping individuals and ultimately the sales teams surpass their targets.
As Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, delivery, and program management of the sales training and development roadmap, including on-boarding, classroom training, e-learning, on-the-job training, and coaching that effectively maximizes new-hire ramp-up and on-going sales performance. Responsibilities
๏ Work with the Sales Managers and the Human Resources Manager to deliver on-boarding program for customer-facing employees and partners
๏ Manage the development of both in-person and self-paced training material
๏ Rapidly create high-quality content like case studies, fact sheets, white boarding scripts, and PowerPoint decks
๏ Record, listen and score calls then provide feedback in coaching sessions
๏ Participate in building and delivering content for all sales training sessions
๏ Gather feedback from our sales team on a regular basis to constantly improve training programs
Skills and Knowledge
๏ Extensive knowledge of sales processes and techniques
๏ Excellent presentation skills in a group training session
๏ Strong knowledge of sales tools to develop training materials, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
๏ Ability to provide candid and real-time feedback
๏ Facility with rolling out changes and encouraging adoption of changes to policies and procedures
๏ Flexibility to deal with last minute changes, the ability to remain calm under pressure, comfortable working with minimal direction
๏ Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and driving cross department collaboration
Requirements
๏ 3+ years in a training role (instruction and/or course development)
๏ Experience in an inside sales role
๏ Track record of success in selling, coaching, managing, and training
Additional Considerations
๏ BA or BS in a technical or education subject
Educational Requirements
๏ Experience with Salesforce.com, ideally expertise with reports and dashboards
๏ Experience in sales enablement or marketing
