China is the second largest economy in the world. Their GDP is around $7.5 trillion. This is awfully close to half of the United States. $15 trillion GDP. China's GDP grew 2000 and 50% since 1990. In the same time, the United States GDP grew only 262%. The real growth, of course, is the world field money supplies. But these figures put into perspective the fact that China's economy has grown at nearly 10 times the rate the US has grown in the last two decades. In fact, in 2010 China talked the US and became the world's largest consumer of energy.
