Lawson's brewery and pub has enjoyed a rich history. Dates clear back to the 19 twenties, originally a speakeasy during Prohibition. It gained his first bit of notoriety early on, thanks to the involvement of the local police force. Located just two blocks from the 33rd Precinct, it was often frequented by the same police officers that should have been shutting it down.
