come hunt with me. My father once said knowing full well I'd prefer to stay in my bed. Who was this man? I didn't know, but I managed a smile and put on a good show. Over the years, we walked 1000 miles at least searching each wilderness for every known beast. A new found respect grew with each passing day. I admired what I caught and even what got away Through rain and wind and the bitter cold I walked and I listened to the stories. He told all the mistakes that I made could have driven him nuts. But he had a plan for my growth and there were no shortcuts. Instead, with each new time that I'd fail, he would teach me a lesson to use on the trail. Then one day he was gone and I walked all alone. Now just memories but the sweetest I've known. But just like the seasons, I must carry on and passed the tradition from father to son
