How strong can snakes be? A research team from Dickinson College was trying to answer that same question. It turns out, measuring that could be a really complex project. Here's how they did it First they created a hydraulic circuit out of a small inner tube filled with hydraulic fluid connected by high pressure tubing to an omega USB pressure transducer hooked up to a laptop running Omega data logging software. The inner tube was then surgically inserted just under the skin of a test subject. In this case, a cadaver pig will call Kevin.
