Jimmy Stewart grew up in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania. His father owned a local hardware store, and Jimmy spent a lot of time there helping out and talking to the customers. We like to think of ourselves as rational beings, but the truth is we base our most important decisions on our emotions. For example, we don't ask young people what they think they should do for a living. We asked them what they want to be when they grow up. You're never ready for the Rocky Mountains. They always surprise you with the sheer size of the peaks, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the wildlife that can be seen on every trail. It doesn't matter how many times you've seen them from Wyoming to New Mexico. It's like a different experience. Every time families tell stories about their origin, Sometimes these stories get more fantastic with every telling. Other times, important details get lost. That's what makes genealogy so interesting. It's like shining a light on your family history. And as many people have found out, the truth is often stranger than fiction.
