It was in 1995 when the village began to use cable television to enhance communication with citizens. An agreement with the cable company for use of a studio led to the first mayor show. The experience of being on television didn't seem to cause stage fright for anyone. So the village continued on its path to feature the Greenwood Village mayor show. For the past 14 years, the mayor show has presented programs on a variety of topics, from transportation, youth, water and police to topics covering parks and trails and roadways. Even topics covering food and shopping have been featured to gain the likings of all village viewers. And even though all productions have been a rap, there are always a blooper or two. When it was time for lights, camera and action. It has been a journey filled with numerous events that have brought us to the place we are today celebrating our 1/100 edition of the Greenwood Village mayor show on behalf of GV, T V eight and the production team.
