the bright light. I was running toward the darkness. Only a slight shadow from the tall buildings kept me on track. He was very quiet, as if the world had died and no creature person was there to restore life. The only sound was my bare feet hitting the cold, solid floor. As I ran, I trailed my left hand along the stone wall, so I didn't hit any other walls. All the lights were out as well as the ones in the surrounding buildings. Matt 10. Silence! I realized I was barely breathing. Then I paused to look down from the Stonewall to the street. That was almost seven stories down. I couldn't see anything. I continued my path and came to the end of a balcony with some stairs that led to the street. After descending, I kept running south and there was the beach. The sand made it harder to run, and they grew so tired at every step. But I gathered my strength for this. It was her only chance, and I wasn't going to let her die. As I neared the shore, more light came from the moon and I began to see the great doc. I could see a shadow near the entrance arch. It had to be her. As I got closer, I saw her alive tied by what looked like a white chain. Three men surrounded her. I was outnumbered. The three men were wearing black robes that made it impossible to see their complete faces. I could read some of their expressions, but much of their features were obscured. The men smiled and looked at each other. The shortest man took out a key and unlocked the chain that held her the last order. I didn't answer and tightened my fist. I felt the bright lights still in my hand, I said, Where is it? He demanded President his foot against my broken ribs. I yelled with pain as he pressed even harder. I tried to inhale to build up strength. Take him out! The tall man drew back, ready to kick me again. Where is it? He yelled again. I spun around quickly and grabbed his foot with my hand, preventing another kick. I rolled to the side and kicked him in the other leg, making him full. I struggled to my feet with one hand, grabbing my broken ribs and the other with the bright light. The tall man looked up at me from the ground, then reached for his gun. I turned around and saw the main dog just a few feet behind me. I sprinted away from him and entered the main doc, then stopped to face my assailant.
