summer, 1969 Chicago police investigate a large metallic object buried in the yard of a family home in Hyde Park. Surprisingly, they dig up what no one expects to find a 1957 Plymouth Belvidere. But why would someone bury a car and what was inside the Plymouth? Belvidere is registered to a college professor who hasn't reported the car Stolen. Detectives find the trunk sealed and enlisted dig crew to help pry it open. What they find inside only adds to the mystery. 40 years later, the professor publishes his autobiography, which includes a new twist about the buried Plymouth. The autobiography creates new interest in the story, and investigators dig into the old mystery.
