Carl Hammond founded Hammond's Candy in 1920. Hammond's is really a slice of good old American know how and success. There was a time when the small town of Denver hosted many of family confectionery, small neighborhood candy shops that used only the best ingredients. Hammond's Candies has gone from a small family round company to a nationally recognized provider of exceptional quality Candies and chocolates. Today it's Bob, Linda, Ralph and Jack who continue the tradition of quality that Karl Hammond started back in the 19 twenties. It's hard to imagine, but almost every day our expert candy makers make over £3000 a day of old fashioned goodness. That's about 1/2 £1,000,000 a year, And many of the machines we used to make all that candy are older than many of you in this room. In fact, the ribbon creme for that we use daily to put that special curl in our ribbon candy was made in the late 18 hundreds. You see, it's that old fashioned handmade touch that makes Hammond's candy stand out from the crowd
