Thomas Harbinson's Indiana murals are a celebrated and profound a work of art. In 1933 the state of Indiana commissioned Vincent to produce a mural for the century Off Progress Exposition at the Chicago World's Fair. He painted an extraordinary large scale narrative cycle, tracing Indiana's history from its early native peoples to the Great Depression Vince and believe that his murals needed to show all aspects of the state's history, even the ugly and uncomfortable parts, so we could confront the mistakes of the past.
