Hi. This is Phoenix, And welcome to my podcast. It's Phoenix. In Canada. You may have a lot in common with my next guest. Here's what I mean, if you've ever traveled to Mexico, maybe mas it Lon. And my next guest is very familiar with that area. You see, that's where he grew up. Season. Milan is a dog whisperer, A dog behaviorist, a producer, a celebrity, a one time illegal immigrant, but now a successful entrepreneur. Have a listen. Hello. I'm looking for Phoenix from Milan. Susan, My goodness, it's so great to talk to you. This is Phoenix Teoh. Just a moment here either. Thank you. Hello. When it started this did your melon stars Maybe in the whole lot. Now, don't be talking about beer now, Caesar. It's It's great to talk to you. Thank you very much for doing this. Thank you very much. Appreciate that is my limit to Spanish, so I hope I did OK. Fantastic. So how things? How are you doing? Are you excited about this little tour you're about to take off? Okay. I can't wait. I mean, it has been in my mind for a long time, you know, to go to Canada. My neighbor and I know Canadians love show and I love my family and love my dogs and, you know, things happen at the right time, and I think I'm ready for Canada. Let's talk about dog Whisper the show. If someone is unfamiliar with the show, how would you describe the show? But to me, the whisper means human who listen, you know, it's not so much a human who tells somebody what to do but who listens to what people need or what the dog needs are. Therefore, I create a strategy, you know, after I understand you know, the root problem. You know, I always say aggression is not the problem. Is the outcome of a problem? Everybody think my dog is aggressive. I don't focus on that. I focus on why did became aggressive. You know, I thought about the perspective of a dog. If I was able to talk to a dog and asked the dog about Cesar Millan's energy, what would the dogs say? Common. He lives in the now, and he wants to fulfill their needs, and he knows how to fulfill my need. So if you know one of things. You have to gain three things you know, trust, respect and loyalty and that that him is signified love, right, because some people love their dogs, but they don't trust their dogs. So that's not the concept of love. Love is when all the ingredients are there. And so when I'm in when I'm in front of an insecure dog What I asked for him, it's his trust. When I'm in front from a an aggressive, though, when I asked him it's respect at the end, I had to gain both. Once they gain trust and respect, loyalty comes. That's when they follow me. But you do that with your body language, which I find fascinating. Caesar energy, body language. You can copy my mind language, but if your state of mind is not in place, the dog knows you're just fooling around. You can't. You can't. You know you can. You know you can't lie to a dog. They just see right through you dogs don't judge. Human is the only one who judges, you know, if you wear the wrong clothes, he's judging you. If you say the wrong thing, he's judging you evaluate. They couldn't care less how you look like you know darkly with homeless people. Don't live with people where they can. You know, blind people, people with disabilities ugly with, you know, over over overweight people they don't care. It's just too. But in so many times, we we say, These are our kids. These are Children. That's great therapy. That's awesome. Especially when humans are empty nesters with human. Their biological clock is, if you know, taking over them, especially for females between 25 30. You know that That's very appearing to it. You know, when the female is younger than that, the brother, you know me. So it the male. I'm not saying the males are better than females. Just the mail. It's more likely to say that my dog and a woman is more likely to say that my baby, Right now I have clients who said that my baby who are males is that so? It's not a gender anymore, you know. Everybody's adopting the concept, which is beautiful, but at the same time, we need to remember that they're happy being a dog, you know, So people who have horses don't make horses human, but they loved him. And so my suggestion is I'm not saying stop him. Stop loving your dog the way you will love a human. What I'm saying is, honor this the identity of your dog so he can achieve his Batam. Therefore, he's going to be happy. Happy dog. Happy home. You know, it's like happy wife. Happy life for personal experience there, Caesar. You know, you've been so gracious during some of your episodes to introduce your Children Andre and Calvin. Yeah, I'm sure you've been asked this before. And I have to ask this some of the techniques that you use for dogs. Have you kind of sort of used that for raising your kids for the beating Theo exercises the mosque discipline is something that you practice every day. Not only want to make a mistake, you know? I mean, discipline is a way of preventing people, making a mistake and rewarding them from, uh, you know, being part of the park, you know, as a Mexican man, family is everything to us. You know, when I came to America, the family concept was a little broken, you know, and the dog became part of the family people in America live separated, and people in Mexico, We live 60 people in one house, you know. So the pack is really large, and so my kids need to understand that they have to be chance, you know? Therefore, they're going to be, you know, acknowledged by, but they can't just get whatever they want just because they're my kids, right? You know what I mean? So I told your in America, but you're gonna be raised like a Mexican. You actually raised an interesting point to about you're not just talking about raising dogs or training dogs You're really talking about. Ah, full family situation, in essence. Well, I think the pack is what you have, and it is really who you are. That's your essence. That should be your life force. You know, your mom, your dad, your sisters, your brother and so when everything is harmonious is you feel at your best. You can be, you know, super poor. But you're super happy. You know, I know a lot of people who are super wealthy, but they're super unhappy. Therefore, the dog project mirror the behavior of a human. How we truly feel, you know, So the pack. It's so important, you know it. So it's very important that you are there for the pack. And some of the learning experience that I bring on stage or in the show is if a dog can teach a human toe, recover balance, he will start with himself. Then he will learn he would teach him out of work as a team member. You know, I don't know our Canada since I haven't been there too long. But America is very individual. No, it's all about you succeeding by yourself, trying to gain all the glory by yourself that it is impossible that, you know, it's a very egotistical point of view. You know, you need a pack you need people to support. You know what your goals are? About the same time you didn't do it by yourself. Is this true that Will Smith really played a part in starting your career? Well, well, what is the husband of Jada Pinkett Smith, Right? And my girl was that his pack leader. So they think it is a beautiful example of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett is this one is a unit, you know, and so definitely Jada is more dog, uh, you know, person in the house. So I when it comes the dog, you know, when it comes to things like that is definitely Jada who gave me the push and not only gave me the push. Also, she hire a teacher to teach me English for a year. Wow. So I'm very grateful, you know, the guy. And I'm very grateful to her. Do you know that She really saw my my my ability toe help dogs. And? And I wanted to teach people, you know, but because my language barrier, it was there that she, you know, she just turned 40 years old. Don't say that, Caesar. Oh, no, Don't say that. Oh, she's gonna call you. Oh, what? She's actually 25. Exactly. Hey, let's talk about the Land Foundation. I know this is something you started up a couple years ago and very proud of covering three things right now. One is the prevention, you know, with kids that are apartment with your university to create a curriculum, and the Mellon Foundation is donating the money. And of course, my knowledge to give it to all the kindergartens, preschools in America and So is the consequence is the kids maintain their instincts and also they learn empathy and compassion and how to use this. But but but the knowledge at the same time. And so we started with kids right now and then eventually was movinto Elementary. And of course, we're gonna movinto, you know, high schools and everything. And then we have the Spain your campaign that we do in America not only for the American speaking people but also English speaking people but the Hispanic. And also we help shelters, you know, toe understand the psychology behind a dog and also donate money so they can have Ah, a much better place to give welfare. Congratulations. That sounds fantastic. There are a couple of emails that were sent in because they knew some of the listeners knew I'd be chatting with you this afternoon. This is from Tammy. She says if you could be reincarnated as a dog, which breed would you be and why? I would say not because he's a pitiful, but he the way he is my beloved dog. Daddy. Yes. Yes. I don't want to be a left in that. You know, if he was a wrapped area, I would like to be like
