When you hear someone talk about air pollution, this is probably what you imagine. Black clouds rising from factories or smelly smog from cars and trucks. This pollution is, of course, very bad for your health. It's full of gases with names like sulfur and nitrogen dioxide, and holds tiny particles some four times smaller than a single hair that can get inside your lungs and into your bloodstream. People who breathe too much of these gases can develop serious problems like cancer or heart and lung disease.
