stress. It is everywhere it is in the air when you quickly run for the bus or squeeze yourself into a packed train every morning and rushed to work with tired eyes, it is looking over your shoulder when your boss brings forward a deadline that was already too close for comfort. It weighs on your shoulders when you're sitting exams that will crucially determine your future. It tightens in your chest when you take your child to accident and emergency. After he falls in, some foreign object mysteriously ends up wedged up in his nostril. It looms over you like a shadow. When your partner loses their job, it is everywhere. Yes, stress is all around us, and it comes and goes like a stranger in the night. While some of us are more susceptible to stress, there are others who are hardly affected by it at all. But they could be affected. No one is ever immune to stress, and it could just be down to them having a better way of handling it. It only takes hearing the word stress, and it's enough to rile some and set their nerves on edge. Today's modern world is full to the brim with constant hassles, tight deadlines, annoyances, frustrations and, of course, demands. Yes, for many people, stress is no stranger. It is commonplace, and it could be said that it has even become a part of their everyday life. Yet there those people who are more in tune with themselves, and they're able to use stress to their advantage. It is these people who are able to cope with the stresses of everyday life more effectively. Or they seem to have more resilience and are able to bounce back from their stressful events quicker than other people. In some ways, we could say that these more resilient people know their bodies, and they have a clear understanding that stress does not always necessarily correlate with something bad. Yes, that's right. When we think of the word stress, our mind automatically processes it as a negative. However, in small doses it can actually be beneficial. It can help you perform better under pressure, and it can even push you and motivate you to accomplish things you might not Without it. Stress is an unavoidable aspect of life, but it need not necessarily be a part of your life. It all begins with knowing that you are in control of your emotions, your reactions and your trigger factors. By knowing what is stressing you out, it will be easier for you to deal with stress in a positive way and stay in a stress proof life.
