Each year, 300 of the top college prospects are invited to Indianapolis for the NFL scouting combine here. They will be put through a cycle of physical and mental tests in front of coaches, general managers and scouts. This is a competition and a true test of a man scared. How they perform will ultimately impact the athletes value, which will determine where the player will be picked. 2014 NFL Draft. He's got a chance to be a very high draft. This is the most talented corner in the entire draft. I was blown away by how I let it tough. Rams have two picks in the first round of the upcoming draft at number two and 13. This leaves endless options of what they could do with these selections. What we do know is they will have the opportunity to draft high caliber players that will have an immediate impact on the team success. Men in charge of these decisions, General manager Les Need head coach Jeff Fisher. I was friends, Pearson coaches. I've been down here every year since 1986 was my 1st 1 so I started to date myself. But there's been a good experience so far. Basically, just wrap it up with the offensive players in the defense. Go on field tomorrow. Interviews were going very well. So you know this is the first step in the process in preparation for the draft. It's a major, major part of the process in each year's different but all aspects of it. Whether it's the medical that comes back, that's probably most important. But the interviews air huge, and there's still some questions. You can get things that you these guys aren't pads. But if it running back didn't catch the ball a lot in college, you can seem now catching here. So you know each phase out here's a very major part of process. Before they hit the field, each player steps up to the podium to share their story until why they are the next number one pick. Of course, that's my one of my goals. Here we go. Number one came out of high school, is No. One player, so I want to go and then leaders with the number one that you grew up watching this as a kid and dreamed of competing in it. Why would I say anything out on do any of that kind of stuff? You know, that's the goal was to be a top quarterback prospect. That's why I left college early. That's why I came out was to be the top quarterback prospect, and I believe I could do that of opportunity now moving into a a professional face. But this is This is life now. This is This is a job for me, taking it very seriously and really excited about the future. I would say, You know, I have to go through the mission, Man, if I could positive, I had to pick myself to be like somebody would be Jake Long. He's unbelievable player. He also went over 77 in Michigan. That's awesome to even think to be compared to him. Oh, heck, yeah, which you guys just 10. Hey, Michael, Sam, How House Football going? How's training going? I would love you to answer that question, but it is what it is, and I just wish you guys will see me as Michael Sam, the football players. Michael Sam, *** football player. As scouts look on, each player is tested in position specific drills, including the 40 yard dash, vertical jump and three cone drill. These give scouts the best perspective of the players athletic ability, which determines their overall draft stock. Looking for change. Get you do the same. Last year, the team picked a dynamic wide receiver out of West Virginia Tavon Austin. His speed and agility, showcased in the 2013 combine made waves across the NFL, has the most talented player available. This solidified their choice with trading up to number eight overall pick to get him this year. A receiver from Clemson is making those same waves for me. I try to try to be physical. I don't feel at all times as far as getting off press blocking down the field. Being that dumb receiver I need are the total package. But as far as catching balls, everyone, no, All I received catch falling scores for me, folks on the little things black and get depressed and being physical damage. You know, I actually went down on you, got a front row seat to watch quarterbacks, coursework, backs. That's typically do ran very well. Very athletic football Lost a lot of tape. Outstanding, young man. You know things. You know, we had a great fresh from near software kind of things dropped off. Cape came back played very well this past year. Yeah, he's a different athlete. Tape on. It was gonna be a top pick like somebody who will the Rams take it? Number two. Will they go offense with Watkins for defense with clowning, Stay tuned. These questions and more will be answered in 2014 NFL draft.
