Those must be the mountains of the moon. And over there was the Hedley Round Canyon, so that had to be the Torrez literal Valley over there. But everything looked cold and gray and well dead. He turned to the right and saw something rising about the horizon. It was blue and white, and as it slowly got larger, he realized it was his own planet Earth. He was amazed how beautiful look, especially compared to the moon. Humphrey was waving from the window of the spacecraft and pointing. He was getting quite agitated, and Max thought he must be hungry and wanting a mouse. But then he looked to where Humphrey was pointing with this little furry pa would Max saw nearly made him jump out of his space suit.
