introduction. I have been interested in residential property investments since owning my first property back in 2006. Since then, I have read and adopted many techniques to source property around my local region of Derbyshire. I didn't make much money from property in the early days as I did not learn the strategies used by traders and developers to find good deals on be able to secure property quickly. I didn't have the expertise on I didn't have access to large sums of money or mortgage is what I learned from my experience. Sourcing property for investment is that it's not easy. What I've put together in this guide is no get rich quick idea. Trying to build a portfolio on your own is very difficult. When you're starting out, you face barriers to entry, including lack of finance, lack of money, lack of expertise, Onda lack of knowledge of your local property market. This book has been written to give you effective ideas of how to build your portfolio quickly, using no money down techniques and no requirements from banks and mortgage lenders. I've always wanted to avoid banks and lending institutes. Ever since I saw what happened to a family member who got into financial difficulty. I feel banks connect like vultures, looking at your assets if you can't pay back the loan. So ever since, my investment approach has always bean to avoid the traditional route of funding. I'm not saying you should avoid mortgages and banks forever, but it might be worthwhile to consider other avenues when starting out. I hope my experience and the experience of property traders and investors that I know and talk to will help you in your career as a property dealer or investor at the time of writing this book, I have been waiting to see the outcome of Brexit before considering sourcing other property for investment. This has given me time to put together the information on how to use no money down as a property investment strategy.
