Hey, everyone, it's great to be here. And thanks so much for joining us today. Eso just a quick intro about me. I have a PhD in animal behavior, and I've trained service dogs for more than 20 years now. I used to work with one of the only two nationally recognized service dog training organizations in the U. S. And when I was with them, I trained service dogs to assist people who had physical and mental disabilities. I also trained in coached prison inmates so that they could then train rescue dogs to become emotional support dogs for war veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. And having had a close family member who became quadriplegic because of an accident, I saw first hand the positive impact that service dogs have on people's lives. For a disabled person, a professionally trained service dog often means the difference between being able to live independently, as opposed to needing another human caretaker. Not only do service dogs assist people with opening doors, pulling off socks and many everyday tasks, but they're also such an emotional support boost. And you know, in these last 20 years I've seen more miracles from these human animal bonds than any human being should be lucky enough to see in their lives to gift a service dog to someone that has physical needs. And that's going to spend the next 10 years of their lives just giving them joy and help. It's, I think, the biggest gift I could give to anyone the gift of the human animal bond. So I feel really blessed that I was able to do this.
