Description

This is a piece from a CSR campaign I did for my old company. The campaign was about providing work to the women from Civil Services families, especially the ones who have lost their loves ones, an initiative to provide a source of income for them. The voice over required a calm and smoothing state of mind, yet had to depict the sense of pain these families go through.

When a soldier dies, Shock muffles any attempts to cry. Grief gives way to silence, silence to despair. Pieces wait to be put together. I life weights to be repaired. Condolences may come plenty, but they don't feel the blade without hope. There is no destination, just a long, eternal. It's the end of the road for fallen one. People will see hail the motto. A job well done. But for those leaves behind, there is no comfort in the truth for the Long, Lonely Road has just begun.
