Hello there. My name is Retro Titan. I've already uploaded my video, but since apparently I can upload audio as well, I decided that I would use my different voices to read an excerpt from a storey that I'm writing myself, since reading from a book that's pre established would probably can is copyright infringement. So here we shadow Gate Chapter one Ascension. The sun was just beginning to rise over the hills and valleys of al Varia, accompanied by the gentle chirp, birdsong and a cool breeze, too, carried with it the fragrant aroma of spring. It was a day like any other, its beauty matched only by its natural simplicity. Yet in the small town of our dra, there was an air of excitement that charged through each Villager like electric. Though they awoke to their familiar rituals and chores, each of them was filled of anticipation, for today marked the start of the Ascension Festival. For the next three days, each man and woman would busy themselves with the preparations. There was a lot to Dio on only a short time to do it, but every drop of sweat they shed would add to the splendour of the festivities on the final day they would feast, drink and dance their cares away all of their hard work, rewarded with a night of carefree joy and celebration. Of course, this tradition was not simply an excuse to gorge in the bounties of the land, but also their way of paying hommage to the heroes that kept them safe. For the most part, l've Aria was a peaceful land. It was ruled by a single monarch and governed by a council that both advised him and enforced his will. That wasn't to say, however, that it was no conflict. The where, of course, the usual assortment of bandits and wild animals that any kingdom would have to deal with. But what truly made this such a dangerous land where the monsters each species was different from the last, from the sky dwelling harpies to the forest Roman goblins. But their minds were all twisted by the same darkness, gearing them all toward a single purpose, the destruction of mankind. At any given time, there were only a few 1000 such creatures in the world, their numbers kept in cheque by an elite order of guardians known simply as the paella. Dent's paladins were respected throughout the land as protectors of truth and Justice, a shining bastion that stood stoically against the darkness. So grand was there satis the Children dreamed of a chance to join their ranks. The truth was, however, the few of them would ever gain The chance to try the training necessary to become a palate was so extreme that no normal man could ever stand a chance. For this reason and to ensure loyalty and obedience, no initiate could be younger. Nine summers or older than 12 does allow the Paladins to shape their minds and bodies and more suitable conduits for their will. Okay, so I've only got a limited amount of time coming to continue, so I'm gonna cut it here. But yeah, that's, ah, free voices that I'm very comfortable speaking in. Ah, considering I wrote this myself, it's pretty clear that I'm good at reading from a script. So yeah, hopefully that gives a good impression of what I can do. Hope you enjoyed it.
