Description

The fourth book I read for Katherine Deauxville was "A HIllybilly Christmas," formerly published as "Moonlight and Mistletoe." As usual, I did research to try and duplicate the proper accents for the characters, even determining how particular types of weather would effect the natural timber of North Georgian speech. Later in the book I actually sang in the voice of Farrie, a young girl who speaks in this chapter. I have a well-developed falsetto, so it was simply a matter of learning the right pitches, and then translating them into her voice. Audiobooks are like adventures for me, where I get to put a lot of effort into making the outcome the best--and most entertaining--possible.
