early June 1998 was the start of a typical Fresno summer. Baseball was in full swing, and a new minor league team, Fresno Grizzlies, was starting its first year in town. Fresno State students were heading home for the summer, and temperatures were already rising to the high nineties. But this summer was anything but typical for two local men. Sharks Thea Ultimate Predators of Our Oceans, a voracious feeding machine roaming nomadic Lee around the sea, looking for its next meal, a perfect predator, jaws of steel and the swiftness of a predatory cat stalking its prey. On display at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and Gatineau, Quebec is a tattered and tourney little red jacket that is over 3000 years old. What is most unsettling about this little red jacket is that it was found stuffed deep inside on 18th century stone Fort Wall in the icy northern region of Manitoba. Now home to Churchill, Jacket hides a secret, ah, haunting mystery that leaves you with an unbearable curiosity to Nome or about the story behind it.
