This was a long promo that was played in stores as well as on the Virgin Megastore telephone on-hold messages company-wide. The Devendra mentioned in the promo is a reference to the musician Devendra Banhart who was particularly popular at the time. The Simon mentioned was a reference to the company CEO, Simon Wright.
I wrote, voiced and performed all production for this promo. The voices other than mine were company employees.
