Description

A song with beautiful multitracked rolling guitar and recorder trio harmonies, written by Jenny Christianson in celebration of a local environmental protection and ecological restoration project. It was taught to and sung by the local school children in the opening ceremony of a their Greenhouse for the children to learn to grow New Zealand native plants, extending and protecting the local streamside forest or "bush".
Kaipatiki is Maori, or indigenous New Zealand language, for "Plentiful food" or "flounder", (fish) and is also the name of the stream and surrounding suburbs.
