Promoting Yourself

If you have your Voices.com website as complete and detailed as possible clients will be able to visit your website to learn about you, your voice over skills, services, and experience. Clients should also be able to visit your site and listen to a wide range of category-specific demos, view a partial client list, see testimonials and reviews.

Clients can contact and hire you directly by using the contact information you've provided (if you've added it to your profile) or they can hire you through our SurePay escrow service - which provides you and your client a secure way to complete online business transactions.

The website we provide you with is a marketing tool. It's time to get out there and promote your services!
Include your website address in all of your marketing paraphernalia such as demo CD covers, postcards, newsletters, business cards, professional signatures, social media marketing (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc), join link exchange programs on industry related websites. Leave comments providing links back to your website in VO forums, message boards, and blogs.

Your membership at Voices.com provides you with tools and resources for you to market yourself online and helps you generate business; achieved through the online auditioning process and more directly through your Voices.com website.

Ultimately, you are running your own small business. You need to spend a great deal of time marketing that business effectively if you want to be successful in this industry.
