What is VoiceMatch and how is it calculated?

Understanding VoiceMatch

VoiceMatch compares a talent’s profile with a client’s job posting. When reviewing a talent’s Voices.com profile, VoiceMatch considers attributes they have entered on their Bio, and tags they have identified on their various demos. When looking at a client’s job posting, it considers the list of talent attributes the client has indicated they are looking for on that particular job.  The more attributes that match between the talent’s profile and the client’s job posting, the higher the talent’s VoiceMatch score will be for that job.

VoiceMatch Helps Talent:

1. Know how well matched they are
2. Decide whether or not to audition
3. Save precious time

3 Tips For Maximizing VoiceMatch

1. Make sure your Profile is 100% complete.
2. Have unique Demos in each category.
3. Select Tags for your demos.

How is VoiceMatch calculated?

In March 2016, improvements were made to the VoiceMatch calculation to make the numbers even more meaningful.

The maximum possible VoiceMatch score is 100, with 10 points assigned for each of the following matches:

*  On your Bio, your Language, Gender and Voice Age selections must match those indicated on the client’s job posting to be invited to that job (to ensure that, for example, if the client is looking for a male and you are female, you do not receive that job invitation).  As a result, if you are invited to a job, your minimum VoiceMatch score would be 30.
