Job Description

Company Overview

FutureCom Technologies helps companies improve the efficiency of doing business over the phone. Whether delivering information, providing customer service, or taking orders, FutureCom improves the profitability of call center operations.

Established in 1994, FutureCom is a Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. We build software and offer services that span various elements of voice processing and speech synthesis. FutureCom developed and markets CommUnify -- the only system to integrate Speech Recognition, Text-to-Speech, Telecommunications Device for the Deaf, Fax, Email/Web integration, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) on a single platform. The result is the flexibility to easily design and deploy telephone based self-service applications using the technology best suited to meet the business need.

The core of FutureCom’s success is unparalleled expertise in IVR and speech technology. Our staff includes Distinguished Members of Technical Staff from Bell Laboratories with more than 35 years of experience in signal processing and speech technologies. As the pioneers of an industry, FutureCom developers:
*Designed the largest call center application in operation, handling billions of calls annually.
*Developed the most widely used Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platform to date.
*Developed and hold the patents for a number of innovative speech technology components, including “barge-in,” subword speech recognition, and speaker verification.

The FutureCom staff also includes linguistics experts who are responsible for enabling FutureCom’s multilingual speech recognition capabilities on a single engine. Our exclusive UniBet© component, a universal phonetic alphabet, enables speech recognition of multiple languages using a single sound set. This combination of technical and linguistics expertise results in best-in-class solutions for business.

We need translation and recording of 10 phrases with an average of 25 words per phrase. The recordings are required in wave format 16KHz or 48KHz mono, but does not need to be edited. Our deadline is this Thursday, January 26.
