Job Description

The project is a trailer for a documentary style film.

Inflection should be serious, yet matter-of-fact, with a hint of foreboding and mystery where appropriate.

Note: Urquhart is pronounced urk-hart

Sample Script:

Tucked away among the Piney Woods of East Texas is the historic city of Jefferson. Plans for the city were laid out in the early 1840s by two men: Allen Urquhart and Daniel Alley.

In contrast to most other town planners of the time who arranged their plans around a central square, Urquhart wanted the city built along Big Cypress Bayou, with its streets running at right angles to the bayou. Alley, on the other hand, wanted his streets to follow the points of the compass. The intersection of these two plans gave Jefferson its distinctive V-shaped layout. The city was given its name in honor of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States.
