Job Description

Our mission is to provide the highest quality, easily accessible and most affordable online educational content to schools and families.

Mastering basic skills in math and reading is a gateway to success in the modern economy. If a child does not acquire these crucial skills early enough, then (s)he misses the important foundation for all of future learning.

We are working on a Shockwave program for kids 5-7 years of age. The program has a working title "Shopping -Money Math". I need voice over instructions and comments while kids solve the problems.

The entire script has 21 sentences, 210 words in total. Each sentence should be saved as a seperate wav file.

Here is the script:

1. Choose two to five items and put them into the cart.
2. Click the PAY button when you are finished.
3. Enter the total cost of the items.
4. That’s right!
5. Have a piece of candy!
6. That’s not right!
7. Try again!
8. Look! You’ve got some money!
9. Choose the items you can buy for this exact amount.
10. Your items cost more than the amount of money you were given.
11. Put some items back, or pick a different set of items, until the total cost matches the given amount.
12. Your items cost less than the amount of money you were given.
13. Add more items, or pick a different set of items, until the total cost matches the given amount.
14. Choose the items that you can buy.
15. The total cost of items may be less or the same as the amount you were given.
16. Great! Now answer the questions.
17. Click the CHECK button when you are finished.
18. Put some items back and try again.
19. Click on each coin that you want to use to pay.
20. Each time you click a coin, the value of that coin is added to the total sum.
21. Add more money!
