Job Description

This is narration for a 20 minute drama, mostly performed by amateur missions groups. It tells the story of a Toymaker and His Son as an allegory of Jesus. This play has been around for close to 24 years, and we are needing to update the narration as well as everything else. Here is some sample narration but I do not have the full script attached as we are still re-working the details of it.

"Once upon a time, there was a Toymaker and his Son. Together they created a wonderful place they named 'Toyland'"

"Toymaker and Son decided to design a unique Toy who would become their special companion. Toymaker and Son saw that it would be good for their new friend to share his Toyland home with someone else. So another toy was crafted and an introduction was arranged."

"One day, the evil magician appeared. Once a helper of Toymaker and Son, he now planned to cast an evil spell over Toyland."

"By allowing the magician to trick them into being disobedient, the toys gave him the opportunity he was looking for. From that day on, Toyland was Spellbound. A barrier of anger, pride, greed, and anxiety appeared, separating the toys from the Toyamaker and Son."

"Toymaker and Son continued to craft special toys, knowing that the separation would not last forever."

"The toys, however, still went on being deceived by the magician, who invited them to a big party to show off his tricks and illusions."
