Job Description

The budget for this project is between $1,000 to $2,000. The final script will be in Spanish, but our client is currently doing the translation.

The end product is a training CD.

This is a man/woman team project. Our client wants every other paragraph read by a man, then by a woman. Please submit any estimates as a male/female team, agreeing you will split the fee.

Total word count: 7,100 words

The final script will be in Spanish, but the client is currently doing the translation. So all I have right now, for demo purposes, is the English version.

The following script is the first page; please provide an estimate, and demos of this first page... including both the male and female voices in your demo.

Thank you!

(M) So what, then, is our culture? What do we believe?

(F) For a start, we believe in pride without pretense. That's part of HNI's personality: people here are real. We are down to earth and never arrogant. We are proud of our accomplishments, but we hate pretense. We demand excellence of ourselves and others, but we're open, honest, and straightforward. Because we know that ultimately, that's what sets us apart. When other things are equal-- -people will work with those they admire and trust most.

(M) There's more, of course. We believe in constructive discontent--in spending less time talking about what we do well and more time examining what we can do better. Because we can always do better. That's why we've built our culture around Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) and the notion that every member has something unique and valuable to contribute. RCI is more than a tool for improvement. It's a means of engaging and empowering our members.

(F) At HNI we are Members. Not employees. That's important, and it's been that way since our founding in 1944. Because at HNI, we believe that leaders should serve, and that the company's leadership exists for its members, not vice versa. Because when members can share ideas and then see leaders acting on them, we achieve something truly powerful: thousands of individuals working actively to make this company better.
