Job Description

What I need done:

I need a female voice actor to voice a character for an upcoming fan-made video game.

This campaign is not affiliated or endorsed with/by Blizzard Entertainment and is 100% non-profit. This is a science fiction setting.

What I look for in the final product:

I'm looking for finished dry recordings which have had any background hiss and noise removed prior to completion. I need these recordings in .mp3 format with a minimum of 160kbps/48khz, stereo. Recordings should not exceed distortion thresholds.

Other requirements that the voice talent will need to know:

The character is a Senator (Chinese Accent).

The actor will need to be able to immerse themselves in the role and 'get into' character when voicing the lines.

Specific expertise that I'm seeking: None.

Anyone who can breathe life into this role is very welcome to audition.

Timeframe for delivery:

I do not know sufficient information about what is required of an actor in this regard and as such, I am open to extended delivery times if needed.

Character Details:

The Senator is a no nonsense politician who formerly served in the military and has no tolerance for breaking the chain of command and has personal issues with other women in positions of authority (as will be evidenced by her interactions in the script).

Age: Should be a convincing 40-50 years.

Accent: Chinese, as thick as possible without being unintelligible.

Audition Line:

If you are interested in auditioning, please use this line:

Tone: Stern

"Admiral, see to it that this hangar remains Level Nine eyes only. You may post sentries outside of this area but no one comes in without written authorization from me. Is that clear?"
