Job Description

I need male voice-over narration for three variations of a 2:44 video: a mock movie trailer for an epic WWII drama.

I seek a young male voice with depth, maturity and wisdom beyond his years -- a 25- or 30-something with the soul of a wise old man -- or the reverse, an older 45-something male voice with an undercurrent of youth, or being young at heart.

Someone old-fashioned. Could be Midwestern accent with a tinge of Irish and cowboy ruggedness, but not necessarily.

Must be able to convey poignancy, nostalgia tinged with bitter experience and regret, but at the same time brightened by optimism and a sense of bygone days gone by.

It can't sound like a typical generic radio voice. It has to sound special, authentic, heart-felt, three-dimensional. It has to sound natural, and unforced.

The video will contain the subtitles to be read as the narration.

I'm seeking something close to (but not necessarily) a Midwestern U.S. accent -- male, somewhat deep and commanding but also gentle.

The third variation requires a WWII radio newsman's voice (a bit Edward R. Murrow's, but not necessarily) Recorded as MP3 or AVI (preferably MP3).
Must be crystal clear.

Those interested in applying, please submit an audio sample with your voice. Those without samples will not be considered.
*

The sample must include the words:

"My father came here, looking for a better life.
Dad would tell me, always love this country.
He said: We're a Free People,
And we can Bounce Back from Anything...
...if we believe...
But times were tough.
We were all Losing Hope.
Then the War came...
...to us..."

For the WWII radio newsman voice, anythig like this would be ideal:

This is part of the desired narration and might give a good sense of what I'm looking for.
