Job Description

We're producing e-learning trainig for a courthouse to instruct new employees on digital court reporting. The voiceover will be worked into 5 brief online lectures (similar to powerpoint) synced to bullet points and imagery.

It's very likely that the script will be modified in the future, so we need someone who can make minor yet quick changes as needed over the course of this month.

"As a DCR you are essentially an “operator” of a recording system, responsible for its ongoing capture. This responsibility extends your duties from rudimentary actions, such as merely clicking play and record at the appropriate times, to using your own judgment to anticipate, prioritize, and communicate as needed. Let’s review some examples of situations you may encounter.

Understanding some basic principles of digital audio is the first step in seeing the big picture and it will also deepen your appreciation for these systems. So, before we get too technical and review all the devices to capture sound, we must first fully understand what sound really is and how it works."
