Job Description

These are actual journal entries that need to be read in a realistic manner, as if you were speaking the words in conversation. I'll need a different voice for each entry, but feel free to audition for more than one. Here are the entries:

"Room 14 - My husband could not sleep, so he lay awake, resting in the bed. He saw shadows crossing back and forth under the crack of the door, then felt a hand trailing up and down the back of his leg for a couple of minutes. (May I add that my husband doesn't believe in the supernatural?)"

"Room 19 - As we came through the door, my husband (who is an avid non-believer) and I heard a voice. I could not make out what was said. He heard 'hello'. Later, I was sound asleep and dreaming a very unpleasant dream when I felt someone grab my upper leg quite hard. It woke me up. Later, I noticed a bruise on my leg the size of a finger mark. I was totally shocked at this turn of events."

"Room 8 - While drifting off in and out of sleep, the covers were pulled over my face. This happened three times. I had to pull the sheet back down to my chest. I asked the spirit to stop and I was able to have a good night's sleep."

"Room 19 - I absolutely don't believe in ghosts, and figured all the ghost stories were for tourist attraction. However...I woke up and it felt like someone had sat on the edge of the bed. I was laying on my back and realized I could not move. I tried to raise my arm and couldn't."

"Room 19 - We fell asleep around 10:30 p.m. and my husband woke to the sound of footsteps at the foot of the bed. He continued to listen and heard the clothes hanging in the closet moving, along with some scratching sounds. We both heard some unidentifiable sound - a voice, a moan a laugh - something from inside the room."

"Room 17 - Our first night, my husband and I were awakened with loud tapping then scratching noises along the windows, closet and headboard."

"Room 24 - I was awakened around 6:00 a.m. by the feeling of something caressing the right side of my head. I lay in bed, petrified, afraid to open my eyes. For approximately fifteen to twenty seconds, I felt invisible fingers play in my hair."

Thanks,
Mark Alan Morris
