Job Description

This is an interactive simulation that uses video game technology to teach medical concepts to physicians.
Since this work is for a proprietary software application that is not a publicly available, an NDA must be signed before work can commence.
Rob is one of two virtual physicians who are treating various patients for multiple myeloma – a blood-based cancer. During the course of the simulation Rob and his mentor/partner Laura will consult with the real-world user (a doctor seeking continuing medical education credit) for advice on how to proceed with various, medically accurate treatment regimens.
Rob is a young oncology fellow (doctor in training) who is doing his best to learn everything there is to know about treating patients with multiple myeloma. He is sometimes put on the spot by Amy during the course of each of the 7 simulator scenarios, and will often turn to the user for both advice and empathy as he struggles through each challenge. Rob is bright, friendly and eager. Though he's definitely a serious student, he's also a bit less formal in his speech than his mentor, Amy.
The attached script includes this same description, as well as some general directorial comments (bracketed text). In each of the sample dialogs, Rob's lines have been highlighted for easy reference.
We need the script recorded in high/CD-quality WAV format with one or two takes on each line. We do not require the actor to export lines individually, so the final audio may be delivered in several large files that will be cut up and processed here at Syandus.
Final recorded lines are subject to medical-legal team review, so some pickups are usually required after the original takes are submitted.
